Best Western Plus Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa

This was an overnight trip to check out this hotel. This was of interest to me for a while and now I've made the time to stay a night. The rooms are clean and comfortable , casino rooms are layed out well to wander and play at will. Service was professional and courteous. The food in all areas was good. I used my meal card for the discount and had the French toast which was perfect. I took the short walk to the downtown as well through the well lit tunnel. The only real drawback was the train traffic. If you are bothered by that you may want to bring earplugs...lol I quite enjoyed my stay and will be sure to come again for a longer stay. The pictures on the website are an accurate display of the property.

Beautiful riverside of the Kootenai safety! Beautiful views, Lots of ducks. BNSF trains go by atleast once an hour. So if you like trains like I do its awesome.. Rooms are clean and maintained well, Quiet! Workers are all friendly and helpful. Food was OK, but not great! Was my only issue. They have three separate casino rooms! I dont gamble, but sat and watched football. Stayed three nights, Entry doors to sleeping areas as well as rooms are key card access for safty!

Single king room was amazing, no need for the river view! Really nice and clean room. Enjoyed the complementary robe during our stay!! Will stay here again!

Was in the area, so spent a bit of time at this super cute casino. It was cute, smoking area and non-smoking as well. I dropped about $700 in a short time span and decided to head out The location has a beautiful hotel and friend staff at the deli and bars.

Nothing but high marks here! Staff was super friendly and accomodating. For an older hotel it has been updated nicely. The rooms are spacious with warm cozy lighting, a comfortable bed and your own private balcony with a Bistro set overlooking the water! There was a heron on a log looking for fish which kept us entertained. Excellent food in the restaurant too. We're not much for gambling but the drinks in the casino were super cheap! You can walk to the older downtown core using the tunnel under the hwy which is super convenient. Cute little shops and restaurants greet you on the other side. Great little getaway!

This is a great getaway place! I stay here occasionally with a comped room, play cash and food. My only reason for an overall 4 stars is the food. My most recent stay I went to the Springs restaurant late in the evening. When I realized how late it was I asked them to prepare it to go so I could eat in my room and not bother the staff so close to closing. The meal looked like it was just dumped off the plate into a container! I ordered Chicken Marsala and the piece of chicken was very dry. I can honestly say I've never enjoyed a meal here. Even breakfast was not good in previous visits. Do yourself a favor and take the tunnel under the highway and go to one of the many fine places in town!

Room was very clean, updated, comfortable and relaxing. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing however the breakfast was horrible. The casino machines are very tight and have been every time we've been here. Extremely hard to win.

Today I stopped by the front desk about 230 pm to modify a reservation I had for the weekend. My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary there this weekend. She was so polite and helpful. She's a real asset to the Casino and I'll come back because of her caring attitude. I really appreciated that. Thank you again.
